Who you talk to

Myth: you will be speaking with a big company. Fact: you will be speaking with an independent local provider from our network. Each one runs its own business, sets its own prices and makes its own schedule.

Harderyounger Tree Service makes the introduction. After that, the conversation is between you and the provider.

What happens on the call

Expect a short, practical chat. The provider will likely ask:

  • Where the tree is and how big it looks
  • What worries you, such as leaning, dead branches or storm damage
  • What is nearby, like the house, power lines, a fence or a pool
  • Whether you want the stump removed too

Photos can help. Many providers will want to see the tree before they quote a firm price.

What to ask a provider

First-timers often skip questions because they do not know what to ask. Here is a starter list:

  • Can I have the quote in writing, with the full scope listed?
  • Does the price include cleanup and hauling of the wood?
  • Is stump grinding included, or priced separately?
  • Do you carry the insurance and licenses my area requires?
  • How will you protect my roof, lawn and fence?
  • What is your timing, and what could change it?

You are in control

A conversation is not a commitment. You can compare more than one quote, ask for time to think and say no. A reliable provider will not rush you into a decision, unless a tree poses a real danger, and then they should explain why.

If the tree is across a road or a power line, stay back and tell the provider right away.
